Terms of use
The short version: ExportFix is free, it runs on your device, and you stay in charge of your files. Last updated 19 October 2026.
1. Using ExportFix
ExportFix is a free tool. You can use it for your own photos and videos, or for family members who have asked you to help.
2. Your files
Your files stay on your device and remain yours. ExportFix reads your export and writes fixed copies; it never changes or deletes the originals. Keep your original export until you have checked the fixed copies.
3. Exports from other services
You download your own export from Snapchat, Google or WhatsApp and follow their terms. ExportFix never connects to those services for you. Their names are used only to describe which exports work.
4. No guarantee
We test ExportFix on many real exports, but every library is different. It is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for lost or incorrect dates, places or files, so please keep your originals.
5. Feedback and the app list
If you send feedback or join the app list, you agree we may use it as described on the Privacy page.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we date the top when they change. Questions: hello@getexportfix.com. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
